No, the Vault card is not a credit card, and we do not check your credit when applying for the Vault card. The transactions you perform on your card are not reported to any credit reporting agency and will not impact your credit score.§

No, your employer does not have any access to your balance or transaction history. Your Vault card may be loaded with funds from a new or additional employer if you desire. You may also deposit your tax refund and government benefits to your Vault card and receive funds transferred electronically from your bank account.

Yes. Your funds on your Vault card are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation through The Bancorp Bank, N.A., Member FDIC. The Vault card Program Manager, Paycom Payroll, LLC, is not FDIC-insured. Deposit insurance only protects against failure of The Bancorp Bank, N.A.

Yes. Your Vault card may not be used for illegal online gambling or any other illegal transactions. We may also restrict purchases from certain restricted geographic or merchant locations where there is a higher risk of fraud or illegal activity. For more details about restrictions and limits related to your card, see your Cardholder Agreement.
